  • 1 hour
  • 35 US dollars
  • West Grand Avenue

Service Description

This art therapy group focuses on using creativity as a self-care outlet. The art therapy process emphasizes that art making can be a source of internal healing, and it is a way of connecting to our inner voice and connecting to others. This group is facilitated by an art therapist and focuses on therapeutic art making. You can expect a directive to be given focusing on different themes such as: hope, forgiveness, letting go, embracing change, etc. Each group begins with a time for intention setting, communal art making, a time of reflective journaling, and concludes with group sharing. You do not need to be an "artist" to participate in the wellness art groups. All are welcome to explore, heal, create, tune inwards, and connect with others. The wellness art therapy group is a confidential, nonjudgmental, safe space that allows participants to process and to share in community while being guided by a therapist. All supplies are included. ** All payments are final. We do not give refunds for booked classes or art therapy groups.
