What to Expect

Create Pieces in Your Own Time

The open studio membership is independent time to use the studio wheels and work on pottery pieces. This is not an instructor led time and members should expect to independently work on their pieces. Members should have prior wheel experience. If you are brand new to the pottery wheel, check out our beginner classes and workshops!

Respect the Communal Space

Please respect the community studio space and clean up after you are done. The studio is open to all members outside of class hours. The membership times are from:

9am-4:00 pm Monday-Fridays,
9am-1 pm and 4pm-8pm Saturdays,
and 9am-8pm Sundays.

Dedicated Personal Shelf

The open studio membership is limited to available shelf space. Members are given set shelf space to store their tools, clay, and pieces. Members will be given a 25lb of clay included in the cost as well as access to the glaze. Members can purchase clay from the studio if you run out.

Firing Schedule and Clay Bodies

We are constantly working to improve our offerings and expand upon our technological capabilities. The studio bisque fires to cone 04 and glaze fires to cone 6. Firing happens monthly. Ready to explore the pottery wheel? Get in touch.
